Welcome to the Tomsett Elementary School website. We are a small community school of about 220 students located in the Cambie West neighbourhood of Richmond, British Columbia. Our school opened its doors in 1959 with just a few rooms
as an annex to Bridgeport Elementary School. Over the years it has had 3 additions with the last in 2000. That is when Tomsett started to develop a wonderful courtyard garden. The trees, benches, pond and gold fish is just a little oasis in the center of the school.

Satisfaction Surveys
Your input is important to us and to the School District. Parents of Grade 4 & 7 students were recently sent home a letter with instructions of how to complete the Provincial Gov't Satisfaction Survey. Each parent was sent an access code to go online to complete the survey. Surveys are available in 16 different languages. Parents have until May 31, 2012 to complete the survey.
