In May, our team got together and scanned our students looking for evidence of their DEI learning related to our identity and community. The following list is evidence gathered that we have intentionally created for our learners (staff and students).

• K-7 Collaboration with Teacher Librarian around Identity and sense of belonging
• Exploring and discovering related texts for the learning commons 
• Checking in with students – what are you learning? Why is it important? 
• Building connections with families by welcoming reciprocal relationships and intergenerational learning 
• Family Teams focused on building community
• Working intentionally with community organizations that are also working towards equity and reconciliation ie. Environmental Youth Alliance (youth to youth land-based action)
